FSL Fundamentals

Overview: About the Course

Hello and welcome to the CASLT CoLab modules! The goal of this module is to familiarize you with the steps in designing an instructional sequence in language teaching. I will guide you through selecting curricular expectations and preparing corresponding activities that scaffold the language skills necessary for students to succeed.

Throughout the module, you will find resources and information that will help you succeed with instructional planning. In addition to content, you will also have the chance to participate in interactive and collaborative activities with other members so that you can view their curriculum planning choices and receive feedback on your own. If any of their posts or comments are particularly insightful or relevant to your own professional practice, feel free to reach out to them on the CASLT CoLab Profile page! This course is delivered asynchronously, so you can stop and pick up where you left off at any time.

Learning Goals

At the end of this course, you will be able to
